The
museum itself is dedicated to M.R.K Menon's friend,
the late Master Modeler Freddie Ward. Freddie who
grew up and lived in Chembur, Mumbai was a
R/C genius and will be greatly missed by all of us
who were fortunate to know him. He was never tired
of explaining things to the beginner and worked hard
to make a model/show come true. Together with Mohd.
Hussain, NCC Chief Instructor from Jai Hind College,
Mumbai we gave a spectacular display of R/C Airplanes
at the commencement of
the National Games held in Kerala, way back in 1989.
The museum is also a tribute to the brave men and
women of the Indian Army, Navy and Air-Force. |
